Old Eddie is better - sports and outdoor accessories

I bought this because I can no longer buy replacement bite valves for my original whirlwind. I don't like the new bite valves at all. I will buy another brand next time.

Pros
  • handy item
Cons

Nice bottles for sports and outdoor activities. Accessories

I received several of these bottles in the middle of the day. You look good! The colors, functionality and choice of tops are great. However, there is a problem. The 32 ounce bottles do not fit in any cup/bottle holder that I have. I wish it was described somewhere. I will keep the bottles but if I knew that I would go for a smaller size.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • boring packaging

I don't like the straw

Great bottle. I like the handle - easy to carry. What I don't like is the weird way the straw works. Maybe it's common, but this is the first bottle I've ever had where the straw doesn't open until you bite into it. I didn't see this mention in the list (although it is there). I find it awkward and uncomfortable. Yes, it doesn't leak, but it's difficult for me to use it. If you can't stop biting a straw, then you'll like it a lot.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Some bugs

Makes me crazy about outdoor accessories

When it works, it's great. And I'm not against the bite-straw system. But often it seems to get stuck. At first I thought the straw was hitting the bottom of the bottle and interfering with the suction. But the straw doesn't reach the bottom, there's always water below, which the straw doesn't reach. Sometimes unscrewing the cap helps, but not always. When I'm in the middle of a workout, I just want to take a sip of fluid so I can keep breathing. no fight

Pros
  • It's amazing
Cons
  • Great price

This new valve didn't work very well

I used one of these bottles regularly for about 3 years and it worked great but looked a bit worn so I bought this version with a new type of valve and after After repeated use, the valve began to fail and it was not possible to draw water through the valve. I'm not sure but there is a silicone tube that goes from the valve area to the straw area and it looks like it has been destroyed and won't let water through.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Only available in white

Lots of water on the go

I have an old Eddy but can't find any replacement nipples so I finally bought a new one. I travel a lot and this is a life saver. This size fits my cup holder (Subaru) and the bottle holder on my backpack. I've had no issues with licking water through the straw or being unable to draw. He has already covered several thousand kilometers by plane and car. Another note: the cap is interchangeable with my old Eddy bottle, so I'll probably buy a second cap to replace the old one.

Pros
  • Test for a year
Cons
  • Safety

Color nice/bite valve not working well

The color and branding drew me to this water bottle. And the bite valve is a great idea. But only if it really works. So many times when I take a sip the hole pops out and blocks the water exit, and many times when I try to swallow a pill or some powdered aspirin it's a big pain. The only reason I even mention it. It can be defective, in most cases it works perfectly. Also, the inside of the bite valve itself is not easy to clean. But overall it's a decent drink.

Pros
  • Sturdy workmanship
Cons
  • Damaged
