The purchase brought only positive emotions.

Bought from hand a little used in good condition. I did not expect that the "soap box" can shoot so decently, and even has a bunch of settings. Plus - Full HD video with zoom. Be sure to attach the hand strap, otherwise you can accidentally drop it. Its pros: Good photo and video quality, turns on quickly, large zoom, large display, manual focus (which sometimes was lacking), fairly fast lens, many settings. Got cons: The flash, of course, in the wrong place, falls under the finger, you have to

Despite the claims to the device listed above, I still consider the choice and purchase of this camera successful. Why? Because everything is relative. Before that, my sister had (and is) the older brother of this camera - the Canon PowerShot SX220 HS, which I myself bought (and often used). In theory, you might think, the quality of the pictures and the overall impression of the devices should be almost identical (I don't take into account the difference in the maximum zoom). So it is 90…

Pros
  • Multifunctional camera with most modern features. Pretty good photo quality (although not absolutely perfect), good optical zoom (with a larger one, most likely, the pictures will be less likely to be clear), good contrast of photographs, quite smart, a lot of useful and not very settings.
Cons
  • On the left side of the image (almost normal on the right) in the photographs there is a slight, but clearly noticeable to the eye, blurring, which, although it does not spoil the overall impression of the picture, is still noticeable, plus it interferes with the quality of mounted panoramas, which I really like to do. I also don't like the way the image flickers while shooting video (or with a large zoom), i. E. stabilization is powerless here. A strong wind creates noise in the video (although I do not exclude that this is a property of all cameras). The noise from zooming in the video, although audible, is not frustrating, after all, this is not a professional camera, and the noise is not that strong. I do not like that a memory card cannot be used normally to transfer non-native fotik information. That is, by connecting the camera to a computer, you will not be able to copy anything to the card. Accordingly, if the card has some files that are foreign to the camera, you will not see them when connected to a computer. I am not happy that the screen has a 4:3 aspect ratio, and I usually shoot 16:9 (based on the future purchase of the same aspect ratio full hd TV that I will connect to the computer).

The quality is at the level, I am satisfied with everything.

I was looking for a camera for travel and travel. Fits perfectly. Compact, good, bright photos are obtained, many shooting modes, 20x zoom is very convenient for traveling, the battery lasted almost the whole day when shooting on excursions (although I bought an extra battery just in case). Travel lovers - I advise! Pros below: A good camera for amateur photography. Good photos even in low light. Takes good pictures on the machine. Lots of shooting modes. 20x zoom. With its cons. Not very…

Not a bad purchase, worth the money.

Excellent camera. It would also be nice to add the ability to save RAW and the ability to reduce jpeg compression - it would be generally good. Well, we would need a more flexible auto mode - at least so that in the auto mode you can quickly set the "macro" function and the "low light" function. Different pros: 1. many modes 2. natural color reproduction in photographs 3. many settings in manual modes 4. good mode for handheld shooting in low light 5. very nimble, good performance 6…

The product is good, there are only a few minor flaws.

Bought as a pocket camera. My impressions are mixed, since I have been using DSLRs and mirrorless cameras for a long time. Noise from wearing matrices and aggressive noise reduction did not become shortcomings, this is still a feature of this type of camera. The battery is frankly weak, in the cold it degrades very quickly. However, for the purposes of simple fixation of events of interest to me and for the compact version of the EGF 500mm, it is quite a good model.

Pros
  • Dimensions, range of focal lengths, stabilizer.
Cons
  • Dark lens, no RAW, slow zoom
