These glasses are not blue glass. There is a thin layer of blue paint on the glass. The first time I gently hand washed them, the blue color peeled off of each one in patches. Terrible product! Definitely a must have zero star product!

The canisters looked great until I washed them for refills. A kitchen rag has removed the blue coating from the inside! Now I'm worried about something getting absorbed into the flour and sugar I put in. Now they are blue with white "waves".

Love it! Now I can store flour, sugar and brown sugar nicely and safely for baking. They don't fit all of the contents of the bags I've bought, but next time I'll buy a slightly smaller quantity so everything fits well. They look great on the kitchen table and don't let air through. Ideal!

For preparing and storing tinctures. The lids are airtight, but if you turn the jars upside down they will leak. I use ethanol as a solvent. It doesn't seem to evaporate, but it doesn't flow out when you shake it hard. They are ideal for light-sensitive vanilla beans or dried herbs.

These jars are beautiful and the wire clasps are well made. However, rubber seals (not silicone) stink to high heaven and render all food stored in jars inedible. The seats aren't the standard size offered by many of the sellers at Revain, so I ordered an odd seal that might work. I'll update this review after I've had a chance to try the new seals.

Not what you think. The packaging is very simple, it's just a box with foam to protect the glasses. However, no instructions were provided on how to operate these containers. But they don't seem to be dishwasher safe, nor can you put them in very hot water to clean them. Blue is just a film of blue paint or something that doesn't stick permanently to the glass. Do not buy!

styrofoam mail that breaks into tiny balls and gets caught under all metal parts. This, combined with excessive static electricity, made the styrofoam of products extremely difficult to clean. It took me about 30 minutes to clean. In addition, despite hand washing according to the instructions, the color is still peeling off in some places. Despite these inconveniences, containers seem to hold things and keep them dry. It's a little tricky to align the lid correctly when closing the container…

They are NOT sealed. They don't even let liquid through, let alone airtight. I fill it with water, snap off the rubberized lid, and when I turn the jar upside down, the water drips. When the water comes out, the air comes out much easier. It annoys him quite a bit that these cans are described as airtight, which is actually not the case. I only store food in airtight containers. For 30€ I send them back because they are unusable for me. If you're looking for airtight containers, don't waste…
