Easy Bathroom Accessory Replacement

The gasket in one of my toilets has corroded and this really is a very easy repair you can do yourself (there are thousands of quick step by step guides online). It literally takes about 3 minutes from start to finish. This ring fitted my Kohler toilet perfectly and hasn't had any more sealing and water flow issues (and I have another spare if I need one).

  • Fingers crossed

If you use whitening tablets, you need these.

I have always used whitening tablets in my toilets. Especially now I will not change. The manufacturer says no; You will break this seal. They do. These are inexpensive replacement parts that will last as long as the OEM (about 6 months). No need to clean the toilet and use sanitizer, worth changing if needed.

Pros
  • Something above
Cons
  • Weak set

Perfect replacement gasket for our Kohler toilet

The original worn gasket was red but although they look like the wrong ones because they are yellow they fit and work perfectly. Simply turn the knob at the top of the cylinder until it clicks into place, then pull up. There is no need to remove the pull chain, just flip it inside the tank and change the gasket. About 5 mins. Work.

Pros
  • Sequins
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Tight, a little tight, sometimes leaking

Easy to install (simply rotate the center rod to the left, lift, replace the gasket, then reinsert and rotate to the right). The pads were tight and needed a little tugging to get the rubber to 'distribute' properly as some areas where I tugged stretched thinner than others. One of our toilets had no problems, but the other works briefly from time to time, indicating the seal is leaking a small amount of water.

Pros
  • Only positive
Cons
  • Unusable features

keep your old ones You will fail.

Replaced 2 OEM Kohler Red Rubber O-Rings with these, just unpolished. I have read that they are easier to wash and my visiting parents sometimes have problems. I thought about saving the Reds and was glad I did. After a few days both started leaking from time to time although everything in the tank and plastic system was cleaned clean. I don't know if it's because they're normal and not true yellows, but today they went to the trash and the reds are back. Try a yellow OEM Kohler or something…

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Expensive Insurance

They were easy to install (just twist the center shaft counterclockwise, lift, replace the gasket, then reinsert and twist right).
