The ink wasn't real. He really said yes.

The ink is not original. At least 4 times the box was labeled "Original" which should be a clue. When I opened it the plastic wrap was missing and the orange clip had fallen off and the cartridge was dry.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Nice colors but there are cheaper inks.

If you want to print something really special on special paper to make it look extra special on a special wall, buy this ink. It does the job incredibly well. However, many Canon printers will accept cheaper inks. While not as bright as the manufacturer's ink, they do the job well and are very economical.

Pros
  • This is amazing

For the ridiculously high price we pay for a quarter.

Considering the ridiculously high price we pay for a quarter of the ink, it doesn't last long. How about satisfying your customers instead of extorting money from us? Shame on you Canon! I tried using non-Canon inks and they wouldn't let me send any error messages. Well, Canon, you might think you choked me, but here's the thing. Not canon!

  • Well built

Great colors - just not that economical

Works great - they just don't last long enough to print photos. The results are way better than any photo store I've used such as CVS, Snapfish, Shutterfly. I used to work in photography and YES there is a difference if you print at home with Canon paper and ink. The cartridges don't last long and I don't want to keep using them. I get about 50 4x6 inch prints by filling all 6 required ink tanks with my Pixma 7520. After reading the reviews I tried to "push" it and print after the light came on

  • Handy thing

PARTIALLY DRY INK CARTRIDGE

This cartridge has a lifespan of less than 2 months. I ordered on May 12th, 2020. and put it straight into the printer. I haven't printed any photos in the last 3 months. I have two printers that are Canon primarily for color printing. so I use it sparingly. The ink cartridges I in front of it are still full. that's a dry bone. and the Replace icon has been enabled for a few weeks. I don't usually have this problem with Canon cartridges. In the past, I've gotten ink on my hands and clothes. I…

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Requires electrical outlet

I chose this product because it's an OEM, at least I thought so. When I opened the box, the cartridge wasn't wrapped in cellophane like it normally (I think) is. I've changed these cartridges literally hundreds of times with no problems, but this time when I removed the orange tab the ink ran out of the cartridge (not spilled but poured out) - ink on my hands and otherwise good pants it's dripping. I bought two, but something was wrong here. I didn't want to repeat the mistake with the second…

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Big and bulky

How do you think Canon makes money?

I have used Canon inkjet printers for many years and prefer the cheaper models that print no larger than 8.5x11. I consider these printers disposable and just throw them away after the print head "dies" which seems to be the main reason these printers fail. There is no point in repairing them as it will cost more than the printer. Of course, every time Canon (and others) launch a new line of printers, the old cartridges become unusable. Clear? This is a fairly legal way of separating the…

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Slightly torn
