The only problem at the moment - and it's possible this was Canon ink cartridge related and would have happened regardless of who sold it - is that it was more difficult than usual to remove the orange cap from the remove cartridge, and when it finally came loose, a little black ink flew out of the hole.

Expensive but reliable

I bought these two component Canon PGI-5 BK pigmented black ink cartridges for my Canon IP4200 Pixma printer. Advantages ----- Reliability These ink cartridges are very reliable. I have yet to encounter a faulty ink cartridge that the printer should reject. use of ink. In the lowest quality mode, I can print on paper equivalent to a ream of duplex paper. Cons ----- Expensive ink. These printer cartridges are expensive. . My printer uses cyan CLI-8C, magenta CLI-8M, yellow CLI-8Y (also available

The seller was fine. Ink is incredibly overpriced wherever you get it.

Okay, the supplier was fine and the ink works fine. I just have to mention why the ink is around $3,000 a gallon every time I'm asked to review these ink tanks. Do you think I'm wrong? Try math. I right. On the other hand, be warned. Never use non-genuine ink in a printer where replacement heads are expensive. What they put in these tanks is often pure junk that clogs the printheads and wrecks your printer. The only way I would use aftermarket ink is if the heads are part of the reservoirs andโ€ฆ

It works fine but sometimes it clogs the injectors.

This is a factory item and works well. Maybe I'm too cautious, but I've stayed away from general things. The only problem I have is that due to the infrequent use of the printer, sometimes the nozzles get clogged and I skip lines when printing. I have found that removing the cartridges and nozzle cage and simply running tap water through the nozzles until the ink runs out works every time. Do not touch nozzles, air dry, shake off water. Again, do not touch the injectors. This happened afterโ€ฆ

Canon MP600 is a great little printer, fairly economical on ink

I like the fact that Canon uses a 5 cartridge system: cyan, yellow and magenta, with two blacks - a smaller tank, which seem to deliver black in full color prints, and those big reservoirs that deliver color in mostly black and white and greyscale prints. Compared to other inkjet printers I've owned, there is quite a bit of time between ink cartridge replacements. And Canon ink is not that expensive. Canon charges a fair price for the printer and a fair price for the ink, unlike some of itsโ€ฆ

  • Great price

Hello. I have used an MP600 printer and Canon cartridge for over five years. I thought it was time to give my two cents. Pros: The product has never produced bad prints. me. Canon refunded all of their RND money a long time ago. All the other downsides I can think of are also mostly due to the printer being intentionally so inefficient with ink. This makes the newly designed car look very lavish. The mp600 (even if it's a wasteful ink hog) still works and the Canon ink cartridge is so reliableโ€ฆ
