Great for landscapes

I divided them into 5x7 (roughly). I've tried 3 or 4 pads already and like them for landscapes. They are not designed for fountain pens and trust me if you want ink on or under your painting use a heat press. But until you have dip pen plans, this cold seal is AWESOME!

Pros
  • Handy
Cons
  • Expensive

Still the BEST watercolor (in my opinion) on the market!

Arches Watercolor Paper. What else needs to be said?! 140 lbs, cold pressed, 100% cotton swatch, soft true white (not their bright white), knitted along top edge only, same signature Arches texture. No watermark as these are not complete elephant leaves. An affordable option for watercolorists who can't find affordable full sheets these days.

Pros
  • Brings Joy
Cons
  • Model Legacy

WORTH THE PRICE

I am a beginner in watercolor painting. Many artists say that you should use the best paper, brushes, and paints you can afford. I think it's very important to practice on quality paper. How else can I learn the right technique and properties of my colors if I use poor quality paper? It's not cheap, but you get what you pay for. I use both Arches 140lb cold pressed and Fabriano Artistico as both are 100% cotton.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Some mistakes

The best watercolor paper!

This paper is expensive compared to other watercolor papers but I really like it. I've tried a few brands and keep coming back to bows. I'm not a professional artist, I like to copy and draw coloring pages from adult coloring books onto watercolor paper to color in, but this paper is so fluid and absorbent that I don't mind spending the extra money. I bought 10x14 to make some small 5x7 paintings as a birthday present. The 9x12 format is great for cropping images to 8x10. The blocks are a bit…

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No instructions
