This product didn't fit me, it held strong, it seemed to work but it didn't hold up well, my hair got dry. My hair didn't feel dry, but it didn't make the hair look straight. My hair isn't complex or difficult to maintain, so I figured any brim product would work. No, I was wrong. I will post a photo of my hair texture so those with my hair type will know.

Also this gel is not for African American hair. I have to apply a lot of product for a good hold and it only takes an hour before my hair needs more.

The gel itself is a good product but when I opened the box the gel was out of the package (not that much) but then when I opened the gel case. it had human fingerprints and finger-shaped indentations in the gel. It didn't impress at all.

My sister got me to use this and now I'm obsessed with it, it's better than hair gel to put on my hair. I have very very thick and curly hair and it will hold my really rough edges it's almost like magic I would definitely highly recommend you use this product if you have very thick unruly hair like mine!

Wearing a ponytail gives me a "halo" of curly hair within minutes. I read about it in a magazine and the price was ok to try! It works great and only a small dab is required. It leaves my slicked back hair smooth but in no way wet or greasy like the oils and gels I've tried before and I haven't had the flaking problem that other reviewers have. I just received the product today and when I opened it the packaging was crumpled and opened. The top was not screwed properly to the gel and in my experience there is usually plastic between the gel and the top. He wasn't there and he had a fingerprint on him! I haven't tested the actual product, but come on Revain. I see other reviews have said the same thing.

I can't even give this average hold. Even after tying the hair for more than 30 minutes (4 sec), it still starts to frizz in less than 2 hours.

This rim gel smells nice, it's also very thick and has a medium hold, I wouldn't say strong. The only thing annoying is that after drying it leaves marks on the hairline and becomes flaky, I wish it was more oily. But it still works fine!
