Broke after first use

I bought this spice grinder in late January and used it once to grind some vitamin C into a finer powder. Today I wanted to grind fenugreek seeds, but the motor does not turn. I have contacted Revain to see if I can return an item even though the return window is closed. nope They say you need to contact the manufacturer. I did and will update when the issue is resolved. Edit: The manufacturer was completely unhelpful when he accused me of using a coffee grinder with powder. Luckily I was able…

I love this thing! on the subject of coffee grinders

Well, I use it differently than fashionable normal people use it - I bought beans and ground them at home, namely because I bought a bunch of coffee and ignored the fact that it wasn't ground :) but I could easily see a normal, well-adjusted person grinding them for coffee in the morning (I don't, but I have a 4-year-old, so mornings are crazy). I've also used it to flour oats. It's so quiet and compact, and there's a bulge on the bottom to wrap the cord around to keep it from getting dirty. In

Beautiful design for coffee, tea and espresso

This is a very good grinder. I've had a few more established brands, but this one has some nice features. First, the transparent cover slides out OUTSIDE of the black case, while most others have it on the inside. External slide traps catch less coffee dirt and are easier to open/close. It also has a very deep cut. I was concerned the lid wouldn't sit on the counter without wobbling as it looks round but the top is actually pretty flat. Also, the lid is transparent (compared to others I've had)

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • I'm nervous

The best grinder ever!

I bought these for my sister because she was looking for a coffee grinder. I saw this grinder on Amazon for a very good price. I bought it for her as soon as I saw it. When I tried it she said it wasn't noisy and the cord was long which she liked. She also likes the size because it is small and easy to store anywhere. A very strong product that can grind anything you want and whatever comes to mind. It also has a see-through lid that lets you see the size of the grist, whether you want it to be

Great for grinding BBQ

On the advice of a friend I bought this for grinding spices. He told me he tried several different ones including some of the big $$$ that cost $150 or more. After all was said and done, he said it was the best he'd ever had and actually bought two of them - one for coffee and one for condiments. The only problem he's ever had was with whole nutmegs. Besides, it worked great for him. And having said that, I bought one too - just for the spices (I'm not a coffee drinker). I use it to grind…

Exactly as advertised happy with my purchase

Size: I bought this because it is a smaller grinder as it is my backup grinder. We have a large burr grinder that we use for espresso and it's very difficult to change the grind once it's 'set' so we bought this for the French press and are pouring in ideas. It's perfectly adequate for our purpose and can hold about 3 ounces of beans without being overcrowded. I've read that some reviewers say 10 tablespoons, others say 1/2 cup. I also agree with these assessments. It's compact and the cable…
