I've watched 3 lessons and I'm still not getting streaming audio. It was very easy to get the video but playing with no sound is really disappointing.

I USE THIS TO GET AN IMAGE FROM ANOTHER SCREEN AND LET ME TELL YOU IT IS SO EASY TO USE. THE ONLY THING I FEEL INSUFFICIENT is that it ever connects to power after a reset or boot. THE SCREEN WILL GO DARK FOR A FEW SECONDS. EXCEPT THAT THIS LITTLE BOX WORKS GREAT.

I tested it on my Wii with Wii HDMI Converter and Playstation4, it works well with OBS Studio. I download it for free. I was particularly a fan of video games. It works well, allowing me to record videos from TVs and video game systems on my laptop to MP4 video files for uploading to YouTube in the Games video category.

Should have checked real reviews before buying. I know it better. Many are now faking or paying for Revain reviews. This clearly does NOT support 1080p recording as stated in several places on the page. It only shows up as a 720p device on PC. Useless.

I love this capture card. I only use it for my DSLR to turn it into a webcam and it works so well. Can't speak to video game streaming but it works fine for video capture and video streaming. I think it's around 30fps which is perfect for video streaming. Too high frame rate will make video streaming strange.

I use it to record settings on refurbished PCs to remind me what and how I set them. The recording speed for this was slower than my PC, so choppy and slow. It was also $45 so it's not a huge loss. The only reason I really give it less than 5 stars is because there is a video selling this item showing someone playing with it and the recording/streaming is top notch, in my experience it isn't. I will say that with Linux and OBS it worked out of the box and I was very happy with it.

This is my first encoder for some twitch streaming attempts. Windows 10 picked up, no problem. Twitch Studio recorded it with no issues. We had a few issues playing live audio, but I'm not sure if it was me, the TV, or the encoder. Size and price are right. One small quirk is that if you want to stop streaming and use your TV for regular gaming, you need to turn this encoder on to allow it to pass HDMI signals. Just have a USB power adapter ready.

I got this thing working pretty well with OBS on Linux. But the default video format was YUYV:4:2:2 and that beat my picture at 5 fps at 1080p. I changed this to YU12 (emulated) or BGR3 (emulated) and it greatly improved the framerate. I think I get at least nominally 1080p 60fps with either of these settings.
