Thing works fine, just a little long. It seems very solid and the clip works well as does the flint and firing pin snap connection to allow the flint to be used and the keys to be separated from the strap. The flint throws sparks and the whistle makes some kind of noise, although it's not actually very loud.

Was looking for a carabiner to get keys off my hip without sounding like a coin box. Not only did this thing exceed my expectations, but it was available at a great price for many tools. Now my keys are in my pocket and easily accessible at all times, and I have a fire starting tool for when I'm camping with the kids, some parachute in case I ever need to craft an emergency edc harness, and even a cutting tool to get me from some sticky situations. love the product.

I bought it as an EDC keychain and it's too hard and started to wear on me to fall apart I would have preferred it to be shorter and less stiff, maybe keep the length and pattern of the cord but loosen it up and fold it in half. For example, weave it to a shorter height, then attach the keychain, and then braid it after the keychain to match the height at the back, or provide options for it. It was expensive because it was durable metal and cord items but I feel like it was a bummer and I need…

I've had this keychain for about two months now. Holds up well. I personally carry around 10 keys on me, and add and remove extra key fobs (at work) quite often. The black paint on the clip has slight signs of wear, but that's to be expected. I give this product 5 stars and will update again in the future as I ride more. I volunteer with Boy Scouts of America, giving leaders and Boy Scouts all new gear to test.
