Rear Traffic Alert does not work when reversing.

Rear Cross Traffic Alert does not work when reversing. When shifting into reverse, the whole system seems to switch off. I connected the reversing trigger to the reversing light.

not installed properly, especially with rear lateral view sensor

well it looks like we missed the original factory box, wish it was included, everything seems whole, it doesn't seem difficult to install, if you follow the enclosed instructions if all goes well you will need another one for the next car.

One of the main functions I bought this unit for was rear cross traffic alert. During bench testing prior to installation, I found that 1. the installation guide is a joke. It simply tells you to mount the sensor at a 20 degree angle. the angle at which the map tool is pointing. There is no schematic at all, and most of the wire markings are only in Chinese, so it's time to start Google Translate.2. It only detects motion, so if someone sneaks into your blind spot and hangs there for a moment…

Do not install incorrectly, especially with rear lateral view sensor

looks like we missed the original factory packaging which would have been nice if it had been there, everything seems intact, doesn't seem difficult to install, if Follow the instructions that came with it. If all goes well, you will need another one for the next car.

Not what I expected based on the information provided

First of all, there are no precise instructions for installing the hardware. the documents contained in the box and the labeled parts are ambiguous and written in Chinese (the characters of the language are unfamiliar, so this may not be correct).
