Exceeded my expectations

Exceeded my expectations! The volume and sound quality is only slightly inferior to the JVC speakers I have on my other 2 helmets.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Available in white only

Works as expected on motorcycles and powersports

I have a Cardo Freecom 1 and this fits. I installed this on my new helmet. The sound quality is perfect so I replaced my JBL speakers which sound much better.

Pros
  • It's amazing
Cons
  • Fits

Great way to use cardo freecom on multiple helmets

I bought this item to add my Cardo Freecom 4 to my other helmet without having to buy another one. My only complaint is that it doesn't have the updated JBL speakers.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • The list is getting long.

For your Stable of Lids

Great, almost as good as my JBL speakers from my Freecom 4+. Originally installed in Arai XD4, this kit installs in Scorpion Exo-r420. Thanks to the scorpion design, it was lighter and, dare I say, louder than in my Arai with premium speakers. Anyway, if you're on the fence, do it.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Fairly good

Great option for multiple helmets

I have 3 outdoor helmets and these kits allow me to move my Freecom 4 from one helmet to another without buying additional bluetooth devices and fiddling with the pairing too have to. The quality is the same as the kit that comes with Freecom. When I bought my Freecom, I opted for the JBL speaker upgrade. I don't notice any difference in volume or quality with these standard speakers. Loud enough and I'll drive with earplugs.

Pros
  • Happy so far
Cons
  • I'll write back later

Good for sitting still

High quality. Does exactly what it says on the tin - allows you to connect additional helmets and easily switch the control unit to the one you want to wear, keeping all connections the same. The only drawback is the sound quality. This is normal when you are sitting still, talking, or receiving GPS directions as you input them into the headset. But musically they break down a lot on the way - especially the bass. The pros and cons are that they plug into a standard 1/8" mini plug so you can…

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • boring packaging
