Looking for a good belt made of nylon fabric. I ordered that. This is a type of nylon strap, but actually a ratchet strap. This was not mentioned in the description. I didn't want a ratchet strap and wouldn't consciously order one. I've had issues with weak ratchet strap buckles, particularly when attaching the buckle to the belt. This one doesn't seem to be much different. YMMV. I returned it. No problem, no hassle.

carhartt checked by her husband. We never had to worry about durability, aesthetics or size. This belt was well made and of good quality, but if it is 4 inches shorter than the last same size belt purchased from Carhartt, quality control must be assured before Walmart will start selling your products in store. I understand these things happen, but it happens far too often for the price they charge.

The belt from the package is excellent, promising. The strap is strong and sturdy and the buckle allows for an easy slide, but after a week of use the buckle slips a lot and I have to readjust frequently. In my opinion the inside of the buckle needs teeth to prevent slipping, for the price it should be flawless. If you are not active and move a lot this belt might be for you, if you work and move a lot I would consider another choice.

Avoid at all costs! Craft is garbage. Durability sucks. I wore it for a week and the end is already cracking. Full-grain leather won't flake at the ends. I ordered a genuine leather belt in dark brown. What I received was a pressed leather belt (shredded pieces of leather mixed with glue) that was so light it was almost white. The shape is the only similarity with the picture. Stamped "leather" belts are the cheapest leather belts. You can buy them all day for $3. Absolutely avoid!

I am very grateful to Carhartt for making a durable and reliable product. I've had this belt for almost a year now and wear it almost every day. The only problem I have (being a tall one) is that the belt itself has started turning outwards for example (on the right side from hip to pocket. Maybe because I'm too "fluffy" am, or maybe my pants aren't that good, the belt should make up for that, I keep wearing the belt as everything else is almost perfect, but I won't be able to tuck in my shirt…

I own 1 tag and can't say anything bad. The leather is just over 1/8 inch thick and smells great! High quality double stitching adds a nice touch to the look and seems to last a very long time. Buckle and spring mechanism to fold over. The side of the buckle is beautifully crafted from materials that will last a lifetime.
