Reliable product but twice the price. I've been fine since it was delivered, but it should still be in the $3 range at most.

The tabs that attach to the drywall were very stiff and difficult to tighten. I have used other similar old work boxes and they are very smooth. Very disappointing.

Used to replace a broken fixture bracket. It was exactly the replacement for what I needed. I managed to adjust the bracket so that it doesn't strain and break like the previous one.

Wanted to use as a removable box in the garage ceiling for cameras. The screws are so hard to tighten you'll want to rip off the heads, and the plastic wing won't work if you unscrew it. more than a few times. The ones usually sold in the store are not like that. There weren't any, and who didn't want to save a few bucks. I'm glad I accidentally ordered just one.

This article is bullshit. Save yourself some money and stress and look elsewhere. The drywall tab was extremely difficult to rotate. anointed with WD-40 and still not moving. One of the drywall wing panels broke immediately. It's on its way to our landfill right now!

Double the price of the large box (same brand) but they DO NOT tighten. I bought a couple of times hoping they would improve but NO. Wings are fragile. hard plastic. The metal screw heads are stripped before tightening. I even tried pre-installing them, but found that if you tightened about an inch, they just snap. If you have the space, spend a few bucks more and use a box designed for a ceiling fan.
