🚒 Carrand 90051 Fire Hose Nozzle with Heavy Duty Performance and On/Off Switch (Colors May Vary) Review

Disappointing. I bought this product at a reduced price. The problem is that under pressure it leaks around the gasket. Tried using another hose at the back of the house with the same result, bad routing. Not the end of the world. I can buy a new gasket. But I don't have to.

When I first put my new hose on it didn't thread and thread securely on me. I was also hoping it would have a higher pressure nozzle like a fire hose, but it was actually nothing more than a regular hose nozzle. But hey, what can you expect for less than $5.

My rating is out of date. Once it was attached to my garden hose and would leak around the thread no matter how tight or loose it is. I thought okay let's try hooking up my other two garden hoses to the house. The same flows around the threads, and yes, the washer is installed. The carving is poorly done and the body and grip feel cheap. It went in the trash, wasn't worth my time.

This nozzle is bigger than the picture and might be a bit heavy for some but I like it because it has a powerful water jet and is very adjustable has a handle you can lower to adjust how high the hydro power is, it's really easy and fun to use. Now that I've discovered this one, I wouldn't buy any other bait.

So far, so good. I've had it for a few months now and it's great. I like the ability to block the water flow by rotating both the nozzle and the arc. That way I can save the setting and turn off the water if I want. It easily adjusts from full/close to ultra-fine mist to jet with a twist of the wrist. I've tried my fair share of hose nozzles and spray pens. This attachment doesn't have all the fancy pistol grip attachment settings, but it's well made and will last. I got this nozzle after getting sick of having so many crappy plastic sprayers that are cheap and break or break so easily. I bought it in November and it still works fine. Very impressive. If you need a very thin sprayer for delicate plants, you may need a different nozzle. It has a slow adjustment, but it ends up being a "Firehose" type nozzle. The only thing I could even remotely say that's wrong with the old one is the lack of such an instant shutdown feature, although that's really only minor. I thought that would solve the problem.
