Good shackle, bad fittings

Good shackle, bad fittings. The included sheet metal screws will not work with the laminated sheet steel used in the rocker panels on the new Ram trucks. Also, the included brackets don't leave enough steel around the rocker arm studs for long-term strength.

Great deal on your Ram truck, I mounted it on my 2016 Ram 2500. Get advice on mounting, take 1 bracket and crawl under the truck, place it on the sill where to mount, below where it will attach to the pressure seam, mark with a pencil on both sides , now the pressure seam is on the angel, take a hammer and tap the pressure weld until it fits the hanger better, now you can mark the hole with a pencil and drill the hole, now the hole should be in the middle of the weld if Do not hit it with a…
