We bought this for our 1980 CJ7 just before we moved to Florida and use it daily (until our garage is cleared) and have had some pretty crazy storms but this coating didn't leak a bit! Very impressed with the waterproofness, how easy it is to put on and take off and it fits perfectly.

The last one I bought lasted about 9 months before crumbled into a powdery mess. It's definitely not UV resistant. Rain seeps through so it's not rainproof. I bought another one because I urgently needed a suitcase. The new one is thinner than the previous one. Unlike the previous one, it has no bar to accommodate side mirrors. This doesn't fit the spare tire on my Jeep TJ it's supposed to fit. I suspect this one will only last a few months before falling apart as it is a much thinner material…
