I just love this dustpan and brush. It's perfect for those pesky little bugs that pop up this time of year and I don't have to kill them on the spot and then hunt for a broom. Also great for crumbs and leaves no crumbs.

The rubber band on the edge of the pot is the best I've ever seen. Do you maneuver around the chips in the pan to seal the bottom and pick up any particles? I seriously think this one doesn't chip as much and provides a great seal.

I bought this specifically for the rubber strip around the edge. I thought that it is pressed against the bottom so a lot of dirt falls easily into the pan. Not so. It gets a lot of dirt under the pan, so I have to sweep it up a few times and then wipe the residue off with a damp paper towel. I'm going to buy a new dustpan and a set of brushes.

My boring old dustpan and brush set finally broke and I wanted to upgrade a bit without paying too much. Two design features make this shovel far superior to the competition. I thought I would really like this combo but as soon as I got my hands on it I knew it was going to hurt. The brush handle fits snugly into the dust collector handle and the only way to remove it is to pull the rubber loop at the back or pull the brush forward and grab the bristles. It also cannot be removed because it is stuck to a recess in the dust collector. I just don't think the hanging loop will hold up to repeated use. I like this set except the dustpan doesn't lay flat on the floor. I'm talking about the yellow silicone edge, which should be flush with the floor with no gaps. I'm not sure if this happened during shipping or if it was originally defective.
