Worked great with my Hunter fan. Turn the switch on/off and then press the button under the battery cover. Works well. Barely any better than the remote I had before and lost, but it's just a cheap plastic remote, overpriced. They somehow got you where they want to go, although the remote control is the only way to turn mine on, so either pay or change the whole thing. breakers every day. garbage product for me.

Our dog ate the remote control for our outdoor hunting fan. This Casablanca remote control looks the same except it says Casablanca. It took us a while to link it as there are no instructions, but if you're having this problem, here's how to do it. Turn off the switch, wait 5 seconds, turn on the switch, insert the batteries and just press the pairing button on the back once. DO NOT PUSH AND HOLD. It should connect automatically. I spent so much time squeezing and holding it and almost gave up.

I don't know if it's the remote control or the receiver, but the dimming function doesn't work! The fan originally had non-dimmable LED bulbs so I spent another $10 to get 3 LED bulbs that cost before I installed them. I've just tried a regular incandescent bulb to eliminate LED conflicts and this bulb won't dim either. These damn companies package and sell this crap, obviously untested, they don't care what you have to go through! Casablanca used to be a top notch company but now they suck…

I decided to write a review because I have a few questions and I hope it will be helpful to list them all here. I have a Costco Hunter 54" Contempo II LED ceiling fan. The remote looked the same except it says Hunter instead of Casablanca. It synced perfectly, didn't need a new receiver or anything. All you had to do was turn off the power (with a light switch or circuit breaker) and then press the button in the battery compartment within 2 minutes after turning the power or Casablanca fan back

This is a cheap item, costing less than $10. Also, it's not "universal" and therefore doesn't work for many Casablanca fans. I have an "Isotope" fan with a model number that starts with the number five. According to the product description, this remote control should work with my fan. After spending several hours pairing it with my fan, I contacted Casablanca and they told me the "Isotope" fan would not work with this remote. They then stated that they had never made a remote control for my fan
