Description of 🚜 Cascadia 4x4 Flipster V3: Ultimate Winch License Plate Mounting System - Hawse & Roller Fairlead Compatible

The Flipster has been completely redesigned! We went back to the drawing board and created the Flipster V3. It combines the best elements of both the Hawse and Roller Flipsters into one versatile package. The Flipster V3 is the best license plate mounting option for vehicles with winches. Roller AND Hawse fairlead compatible! The new design also provides the user with the option to run an aftermarket winch hook (like the Factor 55 Flatlink). The Flipster V3 is even compatible with recessed winch fairleads. Uses the highest quality torque hinge available. The hinge is made of marine-grade zinc alloy, has no backlash, and can withstand well over 20,000 usage cycles. The included aluminum spacer allows the Flipster V3 to work with either Hawse or Roller fairleads. Also included is stainless steel hardware, license plate surround, and multiple Cascadia 4x4 vehicle decals. High durability, UV rated powdercoat finish. This is the highest quality finish available for aluminum.

it is absolutely perfect. I have an aftermarket JK Wrangler.

If you live in a state that requires a faceplate, this is absolutely perfect. I have a JK Wrangler with a secondary ("off-road") bumper that doesn't have room for a license plate. I used to tape my license plate to the windshield, but an overzealous ticket clerk gave me a ticket for not putting my front license plate correctly. I've been wearing it for a month or so and haven't had any issues with it. I used a little Loc-Tite on all the bolts and would definitely recommend anyone installing it…

Buy this. Seriously, buy this. This is the best I've found.

This is by far the BEST license plate holder if you have a winch. I ended up turning mine upside down so the panel would fold down instead of up so I could use the existing top panel holes on the top of the casters to mount the LED bar. This thing is very strong and durable and very well built with good instructions. Worth the extra money compared to some of the other options. Not only does it look good, it also lasts a long time. It survived many automatic car washes without even moving or…

Great product: Frame

I bought 4 license plate brackets, 1 for my Jeep and now 3 for my FJ Cruiser. Getting the bumper bracket on my FJ was a problem. The license plate holder that came with the front bumper broke on the first day of travel. It was heavy steel, but the license plate's base plate was also heavy steel, and the tabs that attached it were gone. The second had a smaller hole than the fairlead so the rope could rub. I was hesitant to spend what the Flipster cost, but I would have saved money if I had…

Don't think twice: Exterior accessories

I haven't fitted this yet as my new bumper is in the box now. At the same time I unpacked and installed the hinge. This fits the bill perfectly. The tab on my bumper is at about a 45° angle to the vertical, which means the angle of the plate in relation to the bracket needs to be more than 90° to allow adequate clearance. The plate rotates 180°, moving out of the way. The metal on it is 3mm thick and should stand up very well. The hinge is fairly strong and offers significant friction. I hope…

Excellent quality mount

I want to join the chorus of positive reviews for The Flipster. (Well, I'd give it a half star for the cornball name, but I'll fight back!) It's fantastic for bumpers like my Rockslide Engineering bumper that have winch cables but no other place to bolt the license plate on. frame k. Assembly couldn't be simpler and the hinge is nice and stiff which should prevent the plate from moving uninvited. The laser cut frame is extremely precise and the powder coating is clean and even. It comes with…

Need to start the front panel? This could be the cover for you!

I bought this from the company that made my bumper. I know a lot of people with aftermarket bumpers that work without a plate or just clip them somewhere. But I wanted to follow state law. They offered me that. The assembly took exactly 15 minutes. You can assemble this together with an Allen key. Then slide it in between the lugs and the plate/bumper and voila! So far it's holding up pretty well. I've done a few trails, a few times with a winch, and hit a few bumps and yet it stays. When you…

Installation Tacoma

I have a 2016 Tacoma with the front bumper and Addictive Designs Honeybadger winch. The design of the bumper with the top edge protruding over the cable guides does not allow the bracket to be installed from top to bottom. I installed the bracket upside down where the notch opens towards the bottom instead of up. I don't think it's a winch problem. The biggest issue I had with installation was access to the stud nuts; this has nothing to do with the mount. The Hawse bolts had to be a quarter…

Flipster on a JK Rubicon '16

Great mount for those of us who need to fit faceplates to cars. Laid a mine on a 16 Rubicon with a Warn 10S winch and fairlead. The quality, fit and finish of the furnishings are excellent. I've had the Flipster for over a week now and have driven the jeep off-road many times. The mount is rock solid and I love how I can fold out the plate for easy access to the winch. I would recommend it to anyone who needs a solid plate mount. Friendly Look: Due to the thickness of the Flipster mounting…
