So far, so good. suitable for pest control

We've been using it for a few months now. Seems to be holding up well. They are lightweight and don't seem to chafe our horse's legs. Will definitely buy again.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Little things

Buy pink, not orange, maybe?

I bought the pink set, it had four shoes, but the orange set only had two shoes. Very disappointed. Pink seems to work better for some reason.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons

Effective but annoying with constant use.

These boots fit very well and zip on to a medium sized paint horse or quarter horse and provide full shin protection from flies. Don't plan on leaving them on all the time, however, as they will start rubbing at the sores after a while. Plan to alternate with waterproof fly spray.

Pros
  • Nicely packaged
Cons
  • Zero

Excellent goods. Be careful because there are so many fly associations.

Excellent product. I was careful because so many fly ties don't stick and many get wrapped around the leg. When sized correctly, these capes stay in place and almost take the shape of a horse's leg. Bought a second set after seeing how well they work. Very happy, as are my horses.

You do the job! for pest control

In the summertime, creepy flies are terrible, and horses can really limp from stomping. They are well made and repel flies. The reason I gave these 4 stars instead of 5 is because unfortunately they are not resilient and really only have one season. My horse is out in the pasture so he wears them continuously from late spring through September.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Something different

Poor quality good for masks

When I first received the flight boots I knew straight away that they had been used and sent back. One even torn at the seam - completely unusable. I immediately requested a replacement. I used the replacements on my 30 year old Quarter Horse for about 2 weeks and they are now unusable - seams torn - same spot as what I originally returned. Should have taken this as a sign that I should have asked for a refund rather than a replacement.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons

Not the best product Cashels

I love love love Cashels products especially their feeders and fly masks but the fly boots suck. My horse had a hoof operation in the fall, he has special expensive horseshoes and sore hooves. I wanted to try flying boots to reduce pounding, help his foot and reduce unplanned shoe removal. Unfortunately, flight boots, including these, constantly slide and don't stay in place. I thought I'd have better luck because he's wearing big punch boots to keep them in place, but unfortunately that's not…

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
