I had one of these years ago and it broke. I was devastated after years of searching for another. When I was desperately looking for "egg-shaped timer", I finally found it. I wish I had done this years earlier! What I love about this timer is that it starts counting when the alarm goes off. So if you miss an alarm clock, you know for how long. I don't know why not all timers do that.
