My pair of 15 pound Shiba Inu hated them. I spent a few minutes making sure they couldn't just smack her in disgust. Very disappointed, but it's not the manufacturer's fault. I just wanted to share my experience with other Shiba owners. It's not worth your time even if you face sub-zero Midwest temperatures. It looks like these two just have to endure like big girls in the lack of a predictable solution to painful, frozen paws.

Bought these for my 10lb Shih Poo to run in the extreme cold of MN. I measured for accuracy several times and ordered size 4. I can't take it with me. We tried several methods. He's not trying to bite them off or pull them off, he's just trying to get used to walking in them. No matter how hard I pull the Velcro straps, they fall off him in just a few movements. They may be suitable for a larger dog but not for a small dog.

The ZXM 4 piece dog boots are almost identical but WILL NOT come loose and are still going strong after almost 2 months. For health reasons, my dog almost always has to wear these gaiters. Therefore, I would recommend ZXM as the best investment. Both types of boots are great for protecting my dog's paws, but the ZXM saves me money.

I bought these in multiple sizes for my 13 year old 110 lb boxer who slipped and fell on our hardwood floors. I wish they were half sizes because none of them fit properly. They were either too big or too small. The quality is excellent but to be honest they were maybe too big to wear indoors all the time. I need something that looks like a sock but wraps around her entire paw so she doesn't slip and fall. They are definitely made to be worn outdoors.

These boots are not meant to be warm. You are not isolated. However, they provide protection for your puppies' feet from cold snow, wet or uneven ground. My dog made the initial walk fun and put his paws in the air when first put on. Next time she patiently waited for me to put them on. At that point I think she looked like her mother again?
