It's so cute! We got it because 1. the pull chains on our ceiling fan are too short and 2. we keep forgetting which one is for the fan and which one is for the light. This solves both problems. You can cut the chain if it's too long, but we didn't. I love it and it came so fast!

Sounds easy but I'm sick of being blinded by lights while trying to find a fan circuit. The chains are long so we shortened ours (they hit my husband in the face) but it was easy to do and now they look great and I can tell at a glance where the fan chain is.

My new home has a ceiling fan. and I kept pulling the wrong circuit to turn a light or fan on or off. I've seen them somewhere in someone's house before. and thought. These pull strings make it very easy to identify which pull is for the light and which is for the fan. I bought two and installed them on fans in our ski condo. The original pull chains were short with a simple handle at the end of the chain. These new circuits make it easy for friends and family to reach the buttons and determine which circuit is controlling the lights or fan.

Very nice traction and just what I needed. For such a reasonable price I was expecting cheap plastic that breaks easily, but I was dead wrong. Very happy with it. Not sure how durable they are when the pendant is pulled, figured I wouldn't want to find out so I just pull the chain. My old amulets came loose from the chain so I took them and instead of taking the old chain off I left them on so the chains were longer because I'm short at only 5ft 2in so I don't have to reach out. Addendum: After about a month the light bulb fell off on one of the rods. Not sure what caused it to break as there haven't been any recent falls or rough handling, but whatever, I'll probably just glue it back on. i 5'7).
