Addendum: After about a month the light bulb fell off on one of the rods. Not sure what caused it to break as there haven't been any recent falls or rough handling, but whatever, I'll probably just glue it back on. i 5'7). My old fan rods also kept falling off when pulled, even though they were securely attached. That was great! They don't break or fall off, they're solid. I love that I no longer have to reach out like crazy to change the fan speed or turn on the light. I will say that for people 6ft 2in and over the draft seems a bit low and you are considerate of them when walking past them in normal unvaulted rooms but they are still very cute.
