This nozzle is great for sliding under furniture edges and picking up dust. In a house with convection heating, two cats and parquet floors everywhere, this deserves special attention! It seems to be of high quality, so there are no problems with reliability. Fits easily to both central vacuum cleaners (two different manufacturers).

I was hoping this would work as well as the shark product I was using. Unfortunately this is not the case. There is no suction power to lift large debris. It mops the floor as I hoped but leaves small bits of dirt on the floor instead of vacuuming it. I had to return with another tool to pick up larger pieces, depriving the objective of that item.

I ordered this product in July 2017 - I liked it so much that I ordered it back in April 2018. As already mentioned, the quality has deteriorated significantly - someone even posted a photo. The amount of "noodles" is much less in the new version. If changes were made, the noodles should have been much larger, as even the original had too much exposed plastic and the problem of scratching plastic surfaces.

This is a handy device. My only issue was that the plug is the same diameter as my vacuum, so it didn't fit. I solved this problem by purchasing a soft rubber connector available at Home Depot's plumbing department. It was more luck than skill on my part because if I couldn't find a compatible connector I would have to return it.

Why I bought this: I recently installed solid wood and loved the idea for my central vacuum system. I have a standard horsehair parquet brush/nozzle and have used it successfully, but thought the microfiber would bother me less due to the long term added wear on the surface and penetrate the edges better.
