Why I bought this: I recently installed solid wood and loved the idea for my central vacuum system. I have a standard horsehair parquet brush/nozzle and have used it successfully, but thought the microfiber would bother me less due to the long term added wear on the surface and penetrate the edges better. Experience and design issues: - The first thing I had to do after opening it was to clean the brush itself. The scraps of cloth that had come loose from him were surprising. I would recommend vacuuming it before use if you buy one. In use I have found it to be no better than a standard edge brush as little material can come out the side and nothing in the design. or the seams actually pointing it to the side so that when in use it just lies forward or backward, essentially nothing comes out the side. You can hit the ledge/edge if you use the front side as there is enough material there that it would normally stay that way. Any microfiber strands on the back are simply sucked into the rectangular vent and do nothing but reduce airflow. Nothing I've tried has prevented them from being sucked in. There is an open area in the front with "deaf"/very short microfiber threads, but there are long threads in the back that had to be removed or replaced with half or quarter length threads. - Only positive is that I feel like I can "brush" the stain a little dry without having to bother with the harsh bristles of the standard hardwood nozzle. , and reattach. I would give 2 1/2 stars and recommend trying a different product.
