FAKE DataStick Pro, no LED display

The product received does not match the product description. This looks like a fake or counterfeit as it is not "grey" and has no indicator light. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND NOT BUYING THIS PRODUCT. There is a photo of a fake brand in the testimonials/reviews section.

Better quality control needed

They are a few bucks cheaper compared to other brands but I had some issues with them. Every time I plugged this drive into any USB port I got an error saying the drive has errors, although I always eject the drive correctly. I would let the system scan the drive and fix it just so it doesn't report any errors. Sometimes when I plugged it into a USB stick it said the drive wasn't found, but when I plugged it back in it worked. I've had luck with the 4GB and 8GB versions of Centon, but 64GB…

Reliable flash memory

Most negative reviews are not even confirmed purchases. At this price, this is a good ride. I've been using the 16GB version for about 5 years now and it has never let me down. The new one seems lighter and more plastic (the original case is aluminum, I think it looks better but costs more). s USB to PC on Win 10 and Win 7 machines. I will update this review if there are any issues.

would not recommend. corrupts data shortly after downloading to this device.

Unfortunately the data will be corrupted after saving to this flash drive. would not recommend using it. tried to use it for a big project and shortly after it corrupted the data hosted on it. used another brand and the data on it was fine, it's just a flash drive of that brand.

Do not worry. Complete garbage.

Absolute junk. I wanted to transfer audio files from my Mac, but copying them to a FAT32 formatted drive (PC) took forever. It also messed up some jpegs I transferred. Frustrated, I tried to reformat it and that was all it wrote. The format didn't work, and then it got stuck - it doesn't load at all. Useless.

This brand is my first choice based on my experience

I'm surprised by the amount of bad reviews on here about Centon USB sticks. I bought and received a 32GB Revain device last week and it worked straight away. I currently have two 32GB Centon drives, one 16GB and one 8GB. They all worked without any difficulties or failures for me. Writing and reading times appear to be excellent; although I'm not doing anything out of the ordinary in that regard, just saving one file at a time.
