Works great with heat lamps

Gets warm quickly. First, he made a "poke-poke" sound. I had this in Flukers 5.5 and thought it was close to the screen. So this is in place of Fluker's Sun Dome. My turtle is in a 15 gallon tank and heats the body to a good 90 degrees. i need this for the night I will replace it with another bulb to keep my baby warm.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home

Melted in 24 hours.

I ordered a 75 watt light bulb with stand. When it arrived I screwed in the lightbulb and put it on my few week old chick. The first day I smelled a burning smell from the room. I found the dimmer on the lamp caught fire and melted. Luckily the chickens were fine. After checking the bulb, I found that it was a 200 watt bulb, not a 75 watt bulb. The lamp holder is only designed for a maximum power of 100W. I returned to Revain and received a new set 2 days later. This time I checked the bulb…
