Doesn't cost $200, you need to reset weekly for it to work!

Now, after a few months of use, we've found that we have to turn off the modem/router and start over from scratch to get subpar speeds for what we're paying for. .Well given the hype surrounding this product we have decided to use it over other highly recommended products but I have to say I am very disappointed, sad to say this router is not unlocking the full potential of your fiber optic internet speeds . That's a beast. And that for the price of a refurbished one. Great upgrade and great price.

So far this has worked great. I kept getting buffering issues and reports of slow speeds well below what I'm paying for. I did a little research and found that the slow 20Mbps is due to our router and not the modem. I was supposed to get 100Mbps but I couldn't get around 20Mbps, sometimes only 17Mbps. Enter 8000 rubles. It arrived on time, earlier than planned. I connected and set it up. Checked for firmware updates. It was up and running within 30 minutes of repair, achieving incredible speeds

Old dog learns a new trick

When we significantly upgraded our Internet service, it became clear that we would need a new modem, but little did I know that our old router would be a bottleneck. Ethernet-connected devices had screaming speeds, but our Wi-Fi was just as pathetic as ever. I did some research and decided to stick with the Nighthawk series and liked what I read about it. Huge improvement over my old router

I wanted to write this review for anyone who currently has a slower and less reliable WiFi and is thinking of upgrading to a router that will improve WiFi speed and signal fi. The absolute worst for computers and accessories

I wish I had never bought this. I have an R6300v2 that still works fine. The front panel light has stopped working and it needs to be restarted at least once a month, but other than that it's reliable. It's not as good as the signal coverage around my new house (which moved from a 1600 sq ft 2 story house to a 2100 sq ft single story house). I still use the R6300v2 for another connection I have and serve it for a specific purpose, but this R8000 should have taken its place and given me WiFi…
