CFexpress adapter from Alxum is an absolute game-changer for anyone who demands high-speed data transfer from their Memory Cards! I wanted a second card reader in addition to my ProGrade reader. But I didn't want to spend as much as I did on the ProGrade reader. Went with it and I'm happy with the transfer speed, maybe a little slower than the ProGrade reader but very close. In general I am satisfied with the purchase and I recommend.

This Alxum CFexpress card reader has a great aluminum body, decent accessories included, but lacks performance. USB 3.1 Gen 2 is said to offer a maximum read speed of 1,250 MB/s, which in this case is about half that. I was using a Pergear CFexpress Type B card which can read at 1200MB/s when connected to a Thunderbolt 3 port on my laptop. Be honest. Recommended.
