My husband wears these shoes. Usually he is a.

My husband wears these shoes. He usually wears flip flops or Keen shoes, but I convinced him to try these. He wears them instead of the other shoes mentioned and he really likes them.

Pros
  • Toe loop increases stability and is more comfortable over long distances.
Cons
  • Limited color options

THE ABSOLUTE BEST sand for water and hiking.

I love these shoes! This is my third pair in the last 10 years! Very comfortable, lots of support, waterproof AND they stay on my feet while I swim white water rivers!

Pros
  • Great fit. Robust construction. The soft material for the shoulder straps is comfortable. I love Chaco!
Cons
  • Difficult to tighten the straps for a secure fit

Right sandal strap too long

I love them, they feel great even when wet! I've been wearing Nike flip flops for 3-5 years and decided to finally try a pair! I would buy a few more! The only reason I'm giving 4 stars and not 5 is because the straps on the real sandals are too long! I don't know if it's on every pair or something but the strap is too long and you step on it when you walk!

Pros
  • I like this!
Cons
  • Poor grip on wet surfaces

Great if you have flat feet!

I was skeptical about the toe strap (mainly because of the looks) but they are great. I tried two other pairs of chacos that didn't have a toe strap and they just weren't that comfortable. I have very flat feet and they provide the support I wanted. I walk 1-1.5 hours a day and have had no problems. Highly recommended!

Pros
  • Comfortable hiking and even better rafting.
Cons
  • Easy to get dirty and difficult to clean

these are men's shoes

These are men's shoes. I took my normal shoe size thinking they were women so they run a bit big. Otherwise I like them very much.

Pros
  • love these sandals
Cons
  • Not suitable for outdoor activities

Poor design leads to extreme discomfort.

These sandals are the worst! The way they fit allows small rocks and pebbles to get under your foot and get stuck there. I wish I had never bought them!

Pros
  • I like this
Cons
  • Very thin in profile and thin in width. Classic is better

Absolutely THE BEST SPORTS SANDALS!

On the left is my new Z2. On the right is my 15 year old Z2. These things are made to last! I just needed an update. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Pros
  • It's really good, doesn't take much getting used to, better than getting your feet wet in your shoes while working with a spray bottle👍
Cons
  • Heel strap often slips off

Reliable - my opinion

Just before I went on vacation, I contracted plantar fasciitis. I swapped out my hiking shoes and bought these chacos as a backup. They eventually became my day hike, outperforming my Merrill Moab Speeds and Columbia Freak Peaks. They have the arch support and comfort needed to keep up with my group. Remarkably, the straps were a little fiddly to adjust, but they ended up saving the holiday.

Pros
  • Chaos, but simpler! I burn a pair about every year and this is the lightest pair yet.
Cons
  • Not suitable for cold weather

Great sandals for every day

Great sandals for everyday wear, hiking or rafting. They're a little heavy and the rubber sole could be a little softer, but they're great shoes. I usually wear men's shoes 10 but I bought a size smaller than I thought I would need and they fit perfectly.

Pros
  • Corresponds to the size and the picture. would recommend
Cons
  • Lack of arch support

Great sandals! in my opinion

Without a doubt the most comfortable sandals I've tried. The straps are adjustable enough that I was able to find the perfect fit in just a few tries. They are comfortable to walk in, they give springiness to my gait. If they ever wear out (and maybe they don't) I will definitely be a repeat customer.

Pros
  •  good brand
Cons
  • Material wears out easily

Chacos are great!

Select these as my old ones lost their footing. This is a different sole than my original one so they are lighter. I still have to get used to them as they are new and fit a little differently. But overall I'm happy with them.

Pros
  • Just what I wanted, Big Sandle
Cons
  • Difficulty walking long distances

These shoes are *almost* great except for the fact that one of the straps is so tight it hurts and the other is dangling off the right shoe. On the left side, one of the straps is too tight and the other is fine. I don't know what the hell happened when they were made, but the straps were definitely different sizes. I'm good at sewing so I clipped a loose strap to tighten and used the excess to loosen a tight strap, but if I wanted to make my own shoes I would. Not even close to worth the…

Pros
  • LOVE HER!!!!
Cons
  • Does not provide adequate toe protection.

Chakos my pros and cons

Just use the size chart provided and you will be fine. That's my feedback. Before buying, I went to the store to make sure the size fits me.

Pros
  • The best fit. The best feeling. The best comfort.
Cons
  • I had to retrieve them as they kicked my ankles with almost every step. I wear size 13.

but they are also convenient for a day trip

The straps are a little clunky/uncomfortable but even for a day hike they are comfortable. Next time I would take the one without the sheepskin coat.

Pros
  • Good comfort, good sandals
Cons
  • It takes time to crack

My son just wanted these sandals and was very happy when I gave them to him. They cost a little more than other sandals but never seem to wear out!

Pros
  • Excellent fit and comfort, Chaco products have been recommended to many friends.
Cons
  • Causes blisters and discomfort

Comfortable, durable and quick drying.

I'm a TV mixer and some of my shows take place in hot tropical environments. Chacos are comfortable, I can walk like in running shoes and when I get wet my feet dry quickly, just like in sandals. 17 years running around the world and never numb, no blister, no rot in the jungle. Do yourself a favor and get them. jorge@bangbangaudio.biz

Pros
  • My son loves her
Cons
  • Inadequate protection of the sole of the foot.

Hubs loves them and the support they offer when walking

Hubs loves them. His first pair of Chacos and he's convinced they're the best sandals for hiking and water. We have them for hiking along streams and rivers. They stay in place and are comfortable enough for wet and dry walking. Although these are heavier sandals, they're also comfortable and he says he doesn't feel the weight when he moves. If you're looking for a good walking/hiking sandal, this could be the one for you. If you want to swim in it I would recommend real water shoes.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Anything I can add

Both are too big and two are too small; each shoe was a different size

These shoes are *almost* great except one of the straps is so tight it hurts and the other on the right shoe is loose. On the left, one of the straps is too tight and the other is fine. I don't know what the heck happened when they were made, but the straps were definitely different sizes. I'm good at sewing so I clipped a loose strap to tighten and used the excess to loosen a tight strap, but if I wanted to make my own shoes I would. Not even close to worth the price.

Pros
  • Wide range
Cons
  • Damaged

The best sandal ever and not as heavy as regular chacos

The best sandal ever and not as heavy as regular chacos. They are super adjustable. Can be worn in wet conditions, ideal for hiking and almost any other condition. I don't think I would run in it, but if you really wanted to, you sure could. There are more suitable sandals for this. NOTE: Version 2 Chaco sandals have a toe ring, but they can also be tightened if you wish to wear them without a toe ring. For example, if you play sports and wear them with socks after the game.

Pros
  • Beautiful
Cons
  • Infinitely sluggish

I've been wearing chaco for 20 years

I've been wearing chaco sandals for 20 years now I'm always happy with them, I order men's sizes because I have wide feet and I find good sale prices women's wide sizes in colors and styles that i like are limited. Models with the Z2 thumb trap are most stable when walking on uneven ground, climbing, walking or scrambling on rocky terrain. An additional advantage of this company is the ability to weave and resole them, as well as individual orders.

Pros
  • it's amazing
Cons
  • frequency
