    The sole falls apart after a month

    I have worn Chaco sandals for many years. I like the durability and stability but they have always found them heavier and with a little more arch support than I would have liked. I really like how they fit and how light they are. Unfortunately the sole doesn't hold up well. I've only worn them on a few short hikes and around town. Both soles are torn (see photo) and small pieces of the sole are everywhere. As if the sole were too fragile. I'm not sure if I should keep them or try to send them…

    Lighter but not as tight as the original

    If you like the arch support and style of the original Z1, don't buy the Zvolv. Yes they are noticeably lighter but they don't fit like my original chacos.

    • The narrower straps were a bit longer but after I cut them off they fit perfectly and are now the shoes I wear most of the time.
    Cons
    • I have two different sandals. Difficult to look at them properly because they are clearly different.

    This Chaco is the best in my rating

    The strap material is a little lighter than the Z Classic, but overall a great sandal. This is my third pair of Chacos in 24 years. It's like a couple every 8 years. That's a pretty good track record in my book.

    Too loose for my narrow legs

    I have very narrow legs. Ordered a half size smaller but still snug. I can't take it all I can still use them for their intended purpose, but not for outdoor work like I was hoping. Another great sandal.

    • Terrible. They are so narrow my foot goes over the edges and the soles pull my feet down. Spend your money elsewhere.

    Comfortable in my opinion.

    It took me a few months to get used to these shoes but now I like them. Just hop on and off. Great for water shoes or just to wear around the house.

    All the amenities of the original Chaco with a lighter sole. I like to wear them in everyday life and when hiking I wear Chaco z2.

    It came with navy blue straps instead of brown ones 🙄 Could have given it to a friend as a Christmas gift so the money isn't wasted as I can't get a fair refund.

    Much better than failures for me

    I think they are GR8! ... so versatile. Much better than flood for me. Can be put on and taken off without bending over with a loose adjustment OR can be walked in with a snug fit. sand at the beach or light work at home. There are now 3 pairs for me and more for family gifts.

    Well made Chaco, lighter than current models, little lift support.

    These ZVolv models are lightweight compared to classic Chaco sandals. I have an old pair that fits me. But these new ones didn't have enough buoyancy support. This is not a defect of the product but a problem with my feet. I reluctantly donated them to a charity in town. That's how things are.

    I didn't like these sandals because they felt very awkward with such a thick sole. I'm not sure why they are so popular, but maybe other people use a different version. They don't flex at all when walking. While one thing I love is the strap's minimalist design, that's about all it has.

    The sport version is better than the classic

    I also have the classic Chocos but I like Zvolv Sport the most. They fit the contours of my foot the best, with deep healing for healing and arch support. I use them for adventures in Hawaii. I'm a private Maui adventure guide, so the Zvolv are great for hiking in and out of streams, rock jumping, and waterfall jumping. I even wear them when I swim in waterfall pools. The straps are very strong, adjustable and the sole is flexible and durable. This is my second pair of ZVolvs because I lost my…
