Great chair and even better customer service

Great chair and even better customer service. I had some trouble tipping my chair forward (or so I thought) and the friendly gentleman on the phone explained that I had the lever on the wrong side. He showed me how it should be and he stayed on the phone until I fixed it. I like my blue chair.

Poor quality, poor welds and bumps.

Overall quality leaves something to be desired. The welds on the base are poorly done and very dirty, like a high school student's first attempt at a shop. The edges of the metal around the wheels are sharp, uneven, and not properly ground. Because of this, I cut the back of my foot with normal use. It also sits unevenly, which seems odd. I will buy replacements soon.

**DO NOT BUY!** Best Home Office Chairs

Bought this for my daughter as a Christmas present. Open for Mondays on Christmas Eve and.1. The box came all battered with a stick sticking out.2. The prizes were dirty and scratched (see photos). It looked like the chair had been used before.3. Instructions shit! 4. The holes do not line up to insert a screw. I couldn't fully seat the bolts for the levers. So they all wobbled. The chair scratched my three children's legs badly

Something is wrong and sad about the design of the base of this chair as it scratched my three children's legs deeply. I assume that the lower silver part is making these scratches. Maybe more work is needed here. A little harsh to the touch. We're not sure what to do about it. The worst thing is, we ordered two chairs and one is already assembled, the other is still in the box. I wasn't expecting much at this price point but two of the four screws broke or jammed trying to assemble the rear end. The instructions suggest using power tools "for prolonged use", but I'm sure they might snap if they were able to break when tightened by hand. Also, the "frame" is not made of alloy steel as stated in the description. The lift and the seat base are made of steel. Base, legs, arms and back are made of plastic. Everything came as described. As other reviewers have pointed out, the screw holes are slightly misaligned/difficult to align. I'm a 28 year old female with little assembly experience so considering that it wasn't too bad. The threaded inserts are full of excess plastic, the holes are calculated without plastic shrinkage.

The threaded inserts molded into the back of the chair have so much play that you have to use half the length of the screws provided to insert them. They also sent an Allen wrench, which is a bit smaller, and trying to force the bolts through the extra plastic in the threads made it almost impossible not to rip the heads off, even with a properly timed punch.
