High quality drill bit

So far I have only used this bit for wood but I have to say the speed at which it penetrates the wood is amazing. It went through the tree so quickly that at first I thought my newly purchased lumber was hollow or had been eaten by termites. I can only imagine how well this drill bit will work in metal.

High quality drill bit

Heavy duty drill suitable for steel plates

I used this drill to move the coupling pins on the pig frame. I drilled a pilot hole and then set this drill bit into a 3/8" mild steel mounting plate. No problem with a Dewalt 18 volt hand drill as long as you slow down, hold on and use coolant. The drill bit still looks new .
