Good training balls

Then it's nice to hit. Have a good spring like a real golden ball. I've only practiced with them once so far, but they almost feel real when hit. I like her.

Pros
  • nice thing
Cons
  • no performance

Good quality super light exercise ball

Good quality at a good price. Exactly what I was looking for for backyard workout. Gives me a good idea if I'm hooking, clipping, etc. Better "real" flies than whipballs, but still light enough that they die in mid-air and won't break a window.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • You could choose a newer model

Cheap sponge balls

I play 4 handicap golf. Sorry but this is a terrible training ball, too soft and easy to compress. Essentially a foam ball disguised as a golf ball. The best practice balls on the market are Dave Peltz's "Fast Golf" balls, and they have nothing to do with quality. It's more like a toy and almost useless.

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Disappear

Exceeded expectations

Very happy with these training balls. I've had no luck with other brands - those I've used in the past tended to be too flexible and therefore didn't fly as far. These champkey balls are a little firmer and when I hit court with them I get a much more "real" ball flight. The estimated max flight of 50-60 yards seems about right after testing with some irons. I definitely plan on buying again at some point in the future.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Speed

Excellent practice balls for use with net

I bought these for use with golf net because I felt that if using real golf balls they were likely to put holes in it. They are perfect and exactly what I was looking for! They're soft and have some rebound, so even if they don't hit the net; I don't have to worry about them flying off and breaking something. They allowed me to practice my swing and accuracy carefree. My only complaint is that the seam on them can make knocking them off a bit difficult if you're trying to hit a smooth surface…

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Negative result available
