I bought these after watching a lot of videos recommending them for drum brake springs and they do a really good job. In the past I've used curved picks, flathead screwdrivers, needle nose pliers, and wire cutters to install springs. These pliers do a much better job and don't damage the springs. They are also great for cutting cable ties flush, especially at odd angles that are not suitable for a dam. But for wider zip ties, I either have to cut them twice or twist the zip tie until it breaks…
