Worked better than I expected. I wired two of these full spectrum cobs in parallel to a old USB cable, a small buck converter to drop the voltage, and used some thermal adhesive paste to sloppily glob them to an old heat sink I had laying around. This was just for a quick test. after one week I was so impressed with the results I decided to leave this test setup as a permanent light. The water sprite in the picture grew from 1/4" cutting to 5-6" growth in just over a week.

Good product, super bright. If you plan to run them near full power they will need a heat sink. Just playing with one of them some of the magic blue smoke started coming out when I adjusted a potentiometer to approach full power. Quickly disconnected it and it actually still worked after it cooled down. Super bright, worked great as a replacement of a burnt out led in a lamp. Rather than getting rid of an LED powered lamp with a burnt out LED, I bought these, combined them with some star heat syncs I had, and they work great. Super bright, just like the originals. They aren't the smd style the old ones were, so they are much larger, but they still fit and work great.

Tested with UPRTek CV600. Tested multiple of each kind.Natural White 4000-4500k - Horrible CRI at about 63, but it was at color temp stated. Definitely wouldn't want to use this for anything unless you need yellow and green with a spike in blue.Blue 460-470nm - Peak at 458nm. Not in range.Royal Blue 440-450nm - Peak at 451nm. Package states 440nm. Not in range.Deep Red 650-660nm - Peak at 660. Package states 660nm.Full Spectrum 380-840nm - Peaks at 444nm blue. Not really anything at 453 or 465…

At max voltage of 2.4 and max current of 500 milliamps, you get 1.2 watts. Thats electrical input. At 100% efficiency (which never happens in the real world) that would only produce 1.2 watts of light output. Nowhere near 3 watts as advertised.

Worked perfect to replace the LED in aquarium goose neck light. Original had a low quality thermal paste that failed and burnt out the LED. This replacement was as bright if not brighter than the original.

Perfect fix fix for a holiday yard light! The 3 LEDs are wired in series so when one blows no lights. We have a spooky blue rotating light for Halloween and couldn’t find another so I fixed it! Went ahead and replaced all 3 since these are so much brighter than the originals.

Took a little longer to arrive, but I'm sure that's because of the "Evergreen" fiasco! Lol these little things put in some serious work! Under the right load resistance they don't run hot, and are efficient as all get out! Great product! A++++

Very bright easy to work with only problem is it takes to long to get them especially when you are in the process of getting something done the wait times are terrible

Had a grow light burn out a couple leds; the less melted due to cooling fan issue. I replaced the melted ones and the light works good as new

These are very bright but they do get hot, so account for that. Worked out well for a Halloween 'simulated lightning' project.

Nice replacement led super bright easy install just have to have liquid soldier for the back side to solder to heat sink if not you will burn it up in short time . But otherwise it works perfectly did a 30hr burn in time it's still going strong

I picked these up to replace the burned out led bulbs in the Fire and Ice Halloween lights. They worked perfect. The exact replacement and now the units are like new again. Quick 10 minute fix! Thanks again.

Nice and bright for the power used with a good lens and good flat mounting with metal backing to keep it running at a good temperature for higher currents.

I bought these for a physics project (we were building lightsabers) and man these are really really bright! They look awesome and they light just about everything in their path up. I do recommend getting the heat sinks that are made by the same company though because these tend to get very very hot.

Wow these are bright! I didn't test them all, but they sure are bright! I will be shining one of these thru a 'red lens' for my mock up of Hal 9000 from the movie, and was pleased with how it worked. Now have a lot of spares for other projects!

These LED’s are perfect for what I needed! My goal was to swap the blue LED from my star projector to a pink so I could use it paired with my other star projector which casts a blue nebula. Now I have the perfect looking nebula with a nice mix of blue and pink with some purple in the mix! Very very happy!
