New heart, new life

Who would have thought that saving one life through a heart transplant would result in the death of other heart recipients. Here's what happens when Kat Delaney, a famous soap opera star, gets a "new" heart. But Kat also has a revelation; She quits her TV job and starts a new TV show about kids who need foster parents. Sandra Brown masterfully handles the many twists and turns of the story. Every time you think you know "who the fool is," you don't.

Strange but good! - Romance

Each of the first four chapters is a separate story, so it's hard to follow. Things don't start to fall into place until Chapter 5. At this point it becomes clear that each of the main characters in each story was a heart transplant recipient at the same time/on the same day. The general story protagonist tries to kill all the recipients in order to reunite the one who received his son's transplanted heart with his son's soul. really Charade on Romance

Miss Brown is one of my favorites. But when I started reading I was so disappointed! It usually grabs me from the first page or at least the first chapter, but not this one. It seemed to me that it jumped from one topic to another and I just put it aside and forgot about it for a while. Well, on a rainy day when I had nothing else to read, I turned on my Kindle and started reading again.
