They are great to use in my water bottles to get rid of.

These are great to use in my water bottles to get rid of the bad taste in water. Just soak them according to the directions and throw them in a water bottle. I only use it for city water. These kids get rid of the chlorine taste and soften the hard water we have here. And it costs less than replacing the expensive filters in those very expensive water filter bottles.

But after that everything was fine, but annoying.

Resin yellows the water even after thorough rinsing. I had to pass the entire tank of boiling water through it twice until it started leaking clean water. But after that everything was fine but worried. Charcoal makes water very bitter no matter how many times I run boiling water through the coffee maker. I ran about 3 tanks and it still tasted gross, very bitter. It's a good price for a set, but they're cheap for a reason I guess.

Installed it in my Breville BES870XL Barista Express espresso machine last night and it fits perfectly. I also received a follow up email from the seller to ensure I was happy with my purchase. As far as I can tell they look and work the same as Breville brand filters for 1/4 the price. Will buy from them again as soon as I need more accessories for myโ€ฆ
