Almost Great good for me

I bought this bag specifically for use with my Fuji mirrorless cameras & to transport lenses, a tripod, filters & extras for longer hikes & all day long outings. Mindshift makes awesome backcountry camera bags & although this one is quite compact it is almost too big for my needs & will fit a camera body, 50-140mm, 90mm, 10-24 & at least 4 more primes. In addition it has a compartment for a tablet & I stuff a thin goretex jacket & midlayer in the front pouch. Build quality & materials are…

Pros
  • unisex-adult
Cons
  • The backpack may not be suitable for longer outdoor trips

January 2023 update! Excellent well-made photography backpack!

Update January 2023 update! I have now owned this backpack for over two years, and it still looks like brand new, it’s very sturdy, and will undoubtedly last many more years. If, in doubt, buy this backpack! This backpack is everything they advertise it. I have the 18 L and it suits my needs for a day pack and as an all around to carry my camera, a few lenses, flash, and miscellaneous stuff. This is a small backpack and it is exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a backpack sized for a day…

Great bag and worth the price

This bag is amazing, well thought out and I couldn't be happier, I have tried about 3 different bags looking for that one that would fit every thing I own and feel sturdy.if you are looking for a bag like that, then look no further! You can always get the larger version if need be.

Pros
  • Exterior Dimensions: 10.6" W x 18.5" H x 7.1" D (27 x 47 x 18 cm), Interior Dimensions: 9.4" W x 16.7" H x 5.5" D (24 x 42.5 x 14 cm), Laptop: 8.9" W x 13.8" H x 0.8"D (22.5 x 35 x 2.1 cm), Tablet: 8.7" W x 10.2" H x 0.6" D (22 x 26 x 1.5 cm), Weight: 3.5 lbs (1.6 kg), Volume: 18 Liters
Cons
  • The side pockets may not fit larger water bottles

Poor Construction Quality

I have the 26L bag and absolutely love it, so bought the 18L for day trips when I don't need to carry all my gear. I was very disappointed at how flimsy the 18L is built. There's no support in the lower-back portion of the bag. With equipment in the backpack, it will not stand up on it's own (I had to lean it against something to keep it from falling over). I had purchased one from Revain and asked for a replacement (thinking that the delivered one was just a manufacturing error). The second…

Pros
  • A little too narrow.Otherwise good product for csmera gear
Cons
  • Lack of easy access pockets for smaller items

Remarkable Design in my review

I am blown away by the design and functionality of this backpack. It is truly remarkable. The biggest smile I got after loading my gear and playing around with all the design possibilities, was when I attached my tripod and it actually fit comfortably and snugly. My compliments to the design team. I've got a Canon 7D with a battery pack. After a few adjustments of the separators the camera fit in perfectly, battery pack still attached. Along with the camera, there are several lenses, a flash, a

Pros
  • Great all around backpack.
Cons
  • The charcoal color may easily show dirt and stains

Great EDC or travel bag for a photographer.

I am a working photographer who spends a lot of time overseas for clients. I was looking for a backpack to carry a 5D mkIV, a couple of primes, a small laptop and an iPad. (5d mk IV x2, 24mm f1.4, 50mm f1.4 and either 85 f1.4 or 135 f2, 13" Macbook pro 2016, iPad Pro 9.7, batteries, cables, chargers, etc.) This is the bag I ended up finding and I really like it. It is comfortable, versatile, and easy to convert from an every day carry bag to my long-flight carryon, to my secondary bag while

Pros
  • I am a professional photographer and it suits my needs perfecly.
Cons
  • The zipper may be difficult to maneuver

Like the pockets and how the equipment fits in the bag

Love the organization of the pockets and the openings, the tripod hanger is great!. My only expectation is that it be more lighter.when the equipment and computer is in, oh my Lord is really heavy. Two inches more wide and the 15 tablet may fit.the only thing I will recommend adding.

Pros
  • Daypack capacity! Front pockets totaling 5L carry personal gear for a day’s outing: extra layers, a light jacket, food, etc.
Cons
  • May not be compatible with all camera models

Roomy & Comfortable

I needed a camera bag that can hold two camera bodies, one (Nikon D810) with a telephoto attached and the other (Nikon Z6) with a wide-angle lens. This backpack fit the bill perfectly. It has handy pockets for spare batteries, notebooks, filters, and all the other stuff you tend to drag along on a shoot. It’s also pretty comfortable, even with two cameras and a large tripod loaded. I’ve been using it for a couple of months, and it shows no real signs of wear, and I haven’t had any equipment…

Pros
  • Durable construction ensures longevity
Cons
  • May not be suitable for those with back or shoulder issues

Not cheap but well designed

Love being able to pack up all my camera stuff and go hiking. Feels like it's going to protect everything very well. If you need more space than this, you're trying to take too much stuff. ;)

Pros
  • Camera Cases
Cons
  • The backpack may not adequately protect equipment from damage

built like tanks. comfortable to carry

this is my second bag from this company. both are epic. built like tanks. comfortable to carry. the 30L and 40L bags can get a bit massive but this little gem is superb! fit into it a FF dslr So t A99ii with 70-400 attached, a sony A7r with Nikon 14-24 attched, a Sony A7rii with zeiss 135 1.8 also attached, and still had room for a Sony RX1R. i have every focal length represented and all ready to shoot. still have tons of room in front pockets for tons of batteries and chargers. small bag that…

Pros
  • Unique back panel design allows for access to gear without fully taking off backpack
Cons
  • May not have enough organizational compartments for some users

Awesome backpack! - my new review

This is a great little camera backpack! I purchased it because my other bag required access to my camera and lenses thru three sides. It was compact but also very annoying. Access to this new bag is from one side only and will hold all the gear I need for wide angle and telephoto. I have my Nikon D7200 and four lenses including my Sigma 150-500mm. The other large zip pouch will carry my iPad and various other items with room to spare. Another outside pocket holds my batteries and cable release.

Pros
  • Stylish design makes it a great everyday backpack, not just for photography
Cons
  • May not have enough pockets for larger accessories

Recieved the wrong color, but a good backpack

I ordered this blue color, but received a black color. Have to order it again, but a buddy of mine has it and this thing is very unique. Its neat that you could swing the fanny pack thing around your waist and change lens, camera, etc. Definitely a must have if you're an outdoors person.

Pros
  • Built-in waist belt for added comfort during long hikes
Cons
  • May not have enough interior lighting for low-light situations

Great photography backpack but not for a 6'3 " build.

A really thoughtful design, but I'm 6'3" tall and the 18L is just too small to fit comfortably. I returned this for the 26L and it is perfect, both in fit and comfort, and in functionality.

Pros
  • Back-panel access to your camera gear without taking the bag off, allowing you to work out of the bag without getting your harness dirty, wet, muddy or icy
Cons
  • The backpack may be too heavy for extended use

Exactly what I was looking for in a camera bag

This bag hits ticks all the right boxes for a great lightweight bag. My goal was to find a lightweight everyday bag that could also carry a laptop and any accessories. I think the 18L size is the perfect size for this; the MindShift 26L bag was simply too big to use daily IMO unless you're carrying a ton of gear. It would be nice if the laptop sleeve was slightly larger to support either a 15" laptop or a 13" with a cover, but I digress; it fits my 2016 13" MacBook Pro just fine. I…

Pros
  • Resistant to scratches and wear and tear
Cons
  • The backpack may not have enough padding for comfort

Great bag with a couple minor drawbacks.

Great backpack so far. First and foremost, the turning waist pouch is awesome, saves me a bunch of time when I want to switch lenses (and since I mostly use primes, that happens fairly often.)Pros:-The rotating waist pouch feature, saves time and effort.-Feels well-constructed, but lightweight for its size.-Good amount of "other" storage in the top-Water bottle storage on the sides, and water pouch storage in the back as well-Tripod holder built in-Personal preference, but I like the…

Pros
  • Easy to adjust straps for a customizable fit
Cons
  • The backpack may not be suitable for those with mobility issues

Nice, just not for me.

Not exactly what I’m looking for, however it appears well made. I felt it was a little too expensive for my needs. I’m returning the item.

Pros
  • Water-resistant exterior keeps your gear dry
Cons
  • May not be suitable for larger laptops or tablets

Perfect compact hike bag for my a7r4 and 200-600!

Very happy with the purchase! Compact design, light, and fit my needs to haul my a7r4, 200-600 G (hood stowed), 24 GM, 85 f1. 8, tripod and gimbal head for a short hike. Also have 2 large side water bottle pockets, and room for other small accessories. I love the feature were I can swing the bag around in front of me to access my all my gear. We'll built, looks and feel rugged enough but only time will tell how long it'll last. To me, it's perfect!

Pros
  • Side pockets for water bottles and other essentials
Cons
  • The backpack may attract unwanted attention due to its style

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Almost perfect for my opinion

The bag is very comfortable. It's a perfect size for daily carry. There are enough pockets and organization for non-photography gear. The only negative I have seen so far is that some of the pockets (quick access pocket at the top of the bag & mesh packets on the back panel) are a little tight. Definitely not a deal breaker.(77 mm filters used for reference)

Pros
  • Ample space to store all your gear
Cons
  • The backpack may not be easy to clean or maintain

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very well made: my feedback

This backpack holds everything that I need for a good long hike. Very well made. Zipper pulls make it easy to open the different compartments.

Pros
  • Bags & Cases
Cons
  • May not support weight distribution evenly

The only perfect camera backpack after a long research

I've been doing research on camera backpack for a week and stayed in a camera store for an afternoon and finally decided to buy this. It is one of very few bags that meet these requirements:- Lightweight (<3lb).- Fits a 13" laptop.- Fits a DSLR + a mirrorless camera + 6 lenses in various sizes.- Not exaggeratively large. This backpack fits my Canon DSLR, Sony mirrorless, and 6 lenses in different sizes. If I arrange it more tightly, it can even fit an additional 70-200 f/4 telephoto…

Pros
  • Comfortable and easy to wear
Cons
  • The backpack may not be suitable for those with excessive gear needs
