Great for photography day trip

This backpack suits me well for performing landscape photography where I'm out for any length of time up to a full day. I originally used the 36L version as I wanted to have 2 DSLRs with lenses attached at the ready. The 36L works great for that but it's a lot to haul for a full day of hiking and I found I was rarely using the telephoto setup. Prompted by my switch to mirrorless I rethought what I should carry for a day hike and selected Mindshift's 18L version of the Backlight. With it I can…

Pros
  • Charcoal color adds a touch of sophistication
Cons
  • The compartment dividers may not provide enough protection

Good but not a $169.99 bag!

This is a good bag don't get me wrong! It's good but it's not a $169.99 bag! Not gonna 5 star it just because I happen to love Mindshift stuff.I found the quality of the used materials lacking. As a side by side comparison I bought the Lowepro Flipside 300 AW II. At the time of writing this review the Lowepro is $119.95. I have other larger bags from Mindshift and usually they are far more superior to Lowepro but apparently the trend does not carry to the lower end models from Mindshift…

Pros
  • Convenient top handle for easy transport
Cons

Finally Found One! best in my review

Holy cow what a journey this has been. Recently switched over from my old Canon EOS SLR to a Canon EOS R10 mirrorless. Fortunately, with an adapter, my old Canon lenses still work fine with the new mirrorless body. That was the easy part. Finding a camera backpack has been well, close to exhausting. I tried somewhere in the range of 8 different camera backpack, not to mention all the time I spent online searching, researching, reading reviews etc. Finally ran across this jewel. Many of the…

Ready to shoot. best in my review

Actually bought it for my wife but, she lives every aspect of the thing. She’s always ready for the quick draw on a photo- opp!

Pros
  • Well built, quality product.
Cons
  • The backpack may not fit comfortably on individuals with larger body frames

Well made bag. Can carry a lot of equipment.

Nice bag. Large enough even for a small tripod stored in the inside (without the head). Also able to pack a light jacket/sweater in one of the compartments. The form factor is very sturdy which would be good for airline travel. The only thing that I can find wrong is that the straps are very wide and are not narrowed enough on the ends so they tend to rub against my arms near the elbows while walking. I had to use black electrical tape to wrap around the straps to make them narrower. Not a big…

Pros
  • Ideal for professionals and enthusiasts who require the utmost protection for their gear
Cons
  • The backpack may not be suitable for all outdoor activities

Fantastic backpack for mirrorless kit

This is a great midsize bag for my Fuji wildlife kit. It easily holds an X-T3 with 100-400 attached, several smaller lenses and accessories. The side pockets work for a tripod/monopod and/or water bottles. It fits a 13" laptop or big tablet, and seems very well-made like my other Thinktank bag.

Pros
  • FOWA S.p.A
Cons
  • The design may not appeal to everyone

Great product and seller

Just purchased as a gift, so can't rate durability, but looks to be well made, and well planned with lots of features. Just as described abd pictured. Super fast service, arrived in one day.

Pros
  • Includes rain cover for added protection during heavy rain
Cons
  • The built-in rain cover may not be effective in heavy rainfall

Great but not for me

It’s fairly thick and I just didn’t fall in love. So I went with think tank airport essentials. Now I have three of them and two airport security. I highly recommend theses 5 bags.

Pros
  • Love This pack
Cons
  • The backpack may not be waterproof or water-resistant
