Buy better if possible.

Worthless for less than 10 pounds of meat, even after adding water the meat stays on the ground as the blades pass it. After reassembling, one of the agitator blades was rubbing against one of the side walls and when I tried to change direction, one of the blades hit a part inside the container, preventing it from changing direction. After some fiddling it worked, but not as well as I personally think it should.

Good product, good price.

So far so good, I used it yesterday to cook venison and it was easier than hand mixing the meat. I had to turn it back a few times because the meat didn't seem to mix too much, which wasn't a big deal. Just thought I'd mention it in case someone has the same problem. Overall I liked it after only using it once. Also, I searched eBay and couldn't get them to buy a new one for less than $90. I bought it from Revain for $65.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Requires an outlet

works best in meat and poultry tools

is better than hand mixing. It could mix a little better and the guide isn't very user friendly. The instructions say don't confuse them. How does anyone know it's new to the world of mixing? I've used it twice and the results have been good. No real complaints other than cleaning. I would complain about the cleaning. I have to clean the grinder, filler and now the blender when I make sausage. I think I'll only use this if I'm making large batches.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Wrinkle

As others have mentioned

This product comes with brass internals that hold the auger in place while it rotates. They had to be stainless steel as they come in direct contact with the meat being processed. After I made another set of stainless steel that actually matched the holes and attached the handle, the product works very well. I made about 10 pounds. , batches, and now it works fine. Turning the handle for about 8 minutes or so will mix 10 lbs. Spring. As others have pointed out, changing direction is key to good

and keep your hands nice and warm too not in 34 degrees Fahrenheit

Every month we burn 30 pounds. Meat for Meatballs Since this blender weighs 20 lbs, you can cook 10 lbs of meat at once plus 5 lbs of other ingredients. I saw it as a way of stirring the meat and keeping your hands out of the process, as well as keeping your hands nice and warm, not 34 degrees Fahrenheit. The machine works well to keep hands off, but it takes a lot of crank turns to get a good mix. , more mixing than I want for tender meatballs. When turning, the metal where the crank meets the

Works well, hurts to clean

This is a good product for the money but not without flaws. First, the fit and finish of manufacture is not top notch. I bent one of the "legs" slightly, which is why it wobbles when turning. never mind A few vices and a small tweak smoothed it out. The same applies to mixing paddles. They were slightly bent, causing them to hit the stationary spikes. Again simple solution. Finally, some of the welds were of poor quality. They are functional and don't leak, but I think my standards are a bit…

  • Looks good
