I tried the skirt on when it arrived and I really liked it. So I washed it. I wore it for the first time today and the seam came up about 4 inches in the wash.

I love this skirt. It has enough fullness to drape beautifully without being too thin or too thick. This is a welcome addition to my fashion wardrobe and travels well and packs well.

This knitted midi skirt by Charis Allure with an elasticated waist and side slit was long for me at a medium size, almost to the ankle, but I'm quite short, about 5 inches 2 inches. I rolled down the top elastic once, but the lightweight jersey skirt with a side slit has stretch all over. There are patterned vertical lines on the fabric and overall it looks very good for everyday wear.

It's machine washable, or at least I throw it in the washing machine and it's fine. Neatly sewn, clean seams, high-quality materials. I would say that it is suitable for early spring and late autumn. It's too heavy a fabric for summer and skirts are always too cold for winter, although it's a good thing if you have to wear a skirt in winter.
