These pass the security checks at my workplace - and they cut really well. The small finger holes are difficult for my hands to manipulate.

Hard to find scissors

These classic scissors I used in elementary school but are not commercially available. They stay true to the classic safety scissors which I remember being strong, light weight and comfortable for little hands.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Some issues

Really best in crafting for sure

I actually put it to the test. I tinkered with my son and tried to teach him how to use scissors, he tried to use them but he accidentally caught his fingers, nothing happened, he didn't even make a beep. A good thing!

Great product great price

Just what I needed. A simple product but the fact is you are not looking for anything more. I just want to point out that it has a steel cutting tip which is not clearly stated in the product description. Just in case you are looking for an all plastic product.

  • Cutting tools
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Cut, but not sharp

This is what you need: something that will actually cut paper and other stuff, but if you accidentally slip your finger across the blade or get your hand caught in it, you won't cut yourself. These scissors fit that description. Other so-called safety scissors are difficult to use, very sharp, need to be held in an awkward position, or need to use excessive force due to the springs that hold the blades apart. I really like this classic style because the metal blade is like dull stainless steel,

Pros
  • Crafts and sewing
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
