The photo of the product is rather deceptive. The chain is black metal, not gold, but it's long. The lens magnifies fine print when mounted at the right angle. Has anyone received this AC LENS product in an attractive or even appropriate packaging? Not me. Mine rumbled in the box when, to my amazement, I grabbed the USPC CARDBOARD BOX off the porch!
