Terrible peeler. Do not buy. I cook professionally gave him a fair shot between carrots, parsnips, potatoes, apples, pears. Threw it away after 2 days. Not spicy at all. Do the right thing and buy yourself a Swiss Army Knife.

I don't know what happened in my kitchen but I lost my potato peeler. So I ordered this one. Oh yes I have to buy two, I don't know why but I bought them. They are slightly larger than my old vegetable peeler and don't fit my hand well. I was trying to peel a cucumber and found that the knife didn't cut into the skin like my other knife, so I finally took a paring knife and finished the job. Next time I go to the store I'll look for a better quality scrub.

Finding a good peeler is a never-ending quest. Do you know what you bought 10 years ago that you loved? Or the other one you bought at the store for 99 cents that worked great but is no longer sold? What a disappointment. I've bought several and this one is fine. Not great, but better than many others I've bought. I prefer this shape for peeling and the handle feels good in the hand. 3 stars for the blades - they don't seem to be of great quality but they have cleaned well so far (though not as
