Luckily I kept the paste from the start.

I only have problems with this product. First, it didn't reach the required temperature. I contacted the company several times and finally got a replacement in the mail after a couple of weeks. Then came another replacement; I returned it. Today the insert when frying stew cracked. The instructions indicate that the insert can be used both on the hob and in the oven. Luckily I still have the use of the first multi-cooker. In short, I have enough parts for a working machine. I had to leave the…

Doesn't matter! suitable for kitchen and dining room

What a difference! Nice multi cooker. The food looks better, tastes better and smells better. I had no idea my old multi cookers were losing flavor. I went from a stinky one that smelled like chemicals while walking to an old used one to this beauty. There is no timer, but that doesn't bother me. I like the ceramic pot. It's fairly light, so I'm guessing it's a mix of stone and clay. I think you have to be more careful with this than with other pots, but it's worth it. I've only used it once so

Porcelain stoneware processing helps

The light color on the underside of the porcelain stoneware in the first photo is the original, untreated porcelain stoneware. On the second photo is already seasoned interior. This is to prevent food from penetrating the stoneware and make the stoneware even easier to clean. This process requires the pottery to be placed in a 450 degree kiln, which is why it has withstood it. A pot full of water will (eventually) boil at a high temperature, but not at a low temperature (hopefully that's the…

Great multi cooker EXCEPT for one

Great multi cooker! I especially love ceramics, not pottery. I've read some horror stories about lead leaching from ceramics in your food due to long term high temperatures and I didn't like it. I ordered it and I'm no longer worried. Cooks well! Highly recommended! Update: OK still a great slow cooker I've enjoyed and made a lot of soups and stews BUT I didn't realize the bottom little 'legs' are made from removable rubber pads and one of them fell off and I can' can't find it anywhere. Now my

A few design flaws but cooks very well

Overall I'm very happy with the Chefman slow cooker. I tried the simplest recipe; Roast a whole chicken. The pitcher heated evenly and cooked my food without my intervention. However, there are a few things you should be aware of. First, I highly recommend reading the handy instructions that come with it and highlighting a few things where necessary. Unglazed ceramic is different from other cooking surfaces and if you are unfamiliar with it this book will help you. You have been warned against…

I like it. A lot of. in Multi Cookers

The heating element of our Crock-Pot Multi Cooker stopped working after the first year of operation and was either working too fast or too slow. In any case, it was very bad. I looked around for other pots and noticed that many of the reviewers were talking about the lead content of the pottery. So before I wanted to buy a new slow cooker, I wanted to make sure it was relatively safe. I researched about 6 or 7 websites and came to the conclusion that unless I test it myself I'm probably not…
