Chemical Guys Gap_620_16 Hybrid Radiant Review

I apply 2 coats of this under Jet Seal and then a coat of wax. I emailed the Chemical Guys and they said it was a good way. I get compliments on how my car's paint looks, so this material and my technique must make a difference. I'm not sure how long that will take. I wash every two weeks so I apply sealers twice a year just to be safe. Before using this or any other sealant, be sure to wash the car with a degreaser, and then coat it with clay. Do not apply sealer to wax.

When I realized that it was a filler/sealant and not a wax, my opinion improved a lot. My Genesis car (daily drive, garage storage), frost white paint was in good condition. To enhance it I foam washed it, used an orbital polisher with a slightly abrasive polish to reduce micro swirls, clay bars to paint and glass, THEN used a white light on an orbital polisher and FINALLY applied a coat of white wax. I honestly didn't expect much from the product. I had a finish that I thought was pretty close, if not the maximum. But I was pleasantly surprised. Of course, this makes a slippery surface even more slippery. And as I started to work, I noticed that the car looked a little lighter.
